The CIDIHCA, located in Montreal, is a documentation center dedicated to Haiti, Caribbean diasporas, and Afro-Canadian communities. Its library houses an extensive collection of journals, newspapers, and documents, along with a photo library, a video library, and a microfilm collection on Haitian history. The center also offers a significant collection of Black literature, covering fields such as history, sociology, and politics, accessible to all. Additionally, the CIDIHCA is working on establishing a sound archive focused on popular and classical music from Haiti, the Caribbean, the Americas, and their diasporas.
