The Société de recherche et de diffusion de la musique haïtienne (SRDMH) is a non-profit organization founded in Montreal in 1977. Its mission is to promote classical music, composers, and performers of Haiti and the Caribbean. Since October 2012, it has been housed at the World Music Research Laboratory (LRMM) of the Université de Montréal. This collection of scores, monographs, and sound recordings is the most diverse assembled to date. This archive allows the SRDMH to organize its concerts, open its doors to researchers, and support music education in Haiti.
