How to Contribute

Konbit Konesans is a platform dedicated to the dissemination and sharing of knowledge about Haitian studies, in alignment with the principles of open access. By contributing to this platform, each author retains full intellectual property rights over their work and remains responsible for the terms of sharing and usage of their text.

We encourage contributors to ensure the terms of dissemination and reuse of their work by reviewing their publication contracts. The texts shared on Konbit Konesans must comply with the applicable copyright laws.

The platform is committed to making documents freely accessible to all, without access restrictions or financial barriers. However, any request for use or reproduction must be addressed directly to the author or the institution holding the text, according to the conditions defined by them.

By sharing your work on Konbit Konesans, you help enrich and energize a collective space of knowledge about Haiti and its diaspora, while promoting equitable access to knowledge.

Publications

Publication refers to a scholarly work that has undergone peer review, including academic journal articles, interviews, book reviews, and other critical writings that contribute to the study of Haiti and its diaspora. We also welcome accepted manuscripts, provided they are open access.

Resources

A resource refers to a platform, podcast, research center, archive, or similar entity that holds significant material related to Haiti and its diaspora. The resource does not have to be of academic nature; it can also be community-based.

Syllabus

For syllabus submission, we request course syllabi that primarily focus on Haiti and its diaspora. The material should center on the historical, cultural, political, or social aspects of Haiti and its global communities. If you are not the author of the syllabus, please ensure that you have obtained the necessary permissions to share it with us.
