Pa Manyen Fanm Nan Konsa: Intersectionality, Structural Violence, and Vulnerability Before and After Haiti’s Earthquake

Based on a large comparative ethnographic study of Haiti's internally displaced persons (IDP) camps. The article analyzes the discourse and practice of gender-based violence (GBV) activism, particularly in the IDP camps. This article argues that humanitarian policy and foreign advocacy organizations played a role in increasing GBV, and concludes that an intersectional approach is necessary.
